Our goal is to make your shopping experience as easy and simple as possible, which is why we offer the same pricing on the web and in our store.
From time to time, we feature special promotions and end-of-season markdowns on the Bivouac web site. All items sold on our web site and in our store are first-quality products from the latest season's collections. You can always trust Bivouac to provide you with the latest fashion and technology from the world's leading quality brands. We never offer second-quality or closeout products.
You can always rely on Bivouac to offer the highest quality brands and latest fashion trends at competitive prices. If you see a lower price for an identical product in the same color and size email us the name of the store or web site and we'll match the price or refund the difference within 30 days of purchase. No problem.
Forms of Payment
Bivouac accepts payment from the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. Gift cards and refund vouchers are honored in our store and can be applied to any purchase made online.
Sales tax is only charged for products shipped to addresses in Michigan.
We ship via UPS ground FREE of charge. We do offer other shipping options (3-day select, 2-day, overnight etc). If you would like to know about your other shipping options please email AJ Davidson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer FREE SHIPPING to anywhere within the intercontinental United States. For shipping to Alaska and Hawaii please contact us at email@example.com. We cannot ship to PO boxes at this time.
At this time, we do not ship internationally.
We stock all inventory offered on our web site to ensure the quickest turn-around possible on your order. Because our inventory is close at hand, we can process and ship all orders received by noon on the same day Monday through Friday. Orders received after 3:30 pm are shipped on the following business day.
All orders can be picked up at our store in Ann Arbor. There's no additional charge for this service. Simply select "In Store Pick-up" as your shipping option and bring your order confirmation to any cash register at our store.
Once your order is processed, Bivouac will give you a UPS tracking number. Use this number to track your order at www.ups.com.
We can process your payment with a credit card directly over the phone, or via fax if you prefer.

Duties & Taxes
International orders are subject to duties and taxes. The recipient is responsible for payment of applicable duties, taxes, and other fees. Gift orders may be assessed duty depending on the country. Please contact your customs office for information on duties, taxes, and restricted items.
Product from Merrell, The North Face, and Patagonia can be shipped to US addresses only.
We offer special packaging and gift messages for gifts from Bivouac.
To request gift wrap service, select the appropriate box at check-out and we will be happy to box and gift wrap your order.
Type your message in the box provided (limit 240 characters) to include a complimentary personal gift message with your order. We will print your message on a special note card and send it with your gift.

New, unworn and unused items that do not meet your expectations in fit, quality, or style can be returned within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price. Defective items in any condition can be returned for a full refund of the purchase price and shipping costs within 30 days.
Due to safety and hygiene concerns we cannot accept returns on the following items: Climbing equipment, Swimwear, and Underwear.
To return an item, simply ship it back to us in its original packaging with the tags intact. Include a copy of your receipt, packing slip, or (if all else fails) your name and credit card number. Be sure to include your name, address, and telephone number or email address in case we have any questions.

We will confirm receipt of your request and credit your credit card with the purchase price. Items received as gifts can be returned for store credit.
Alternatively, returns can be made directly in our store, where we'll be happy to process your refund, or assist you in selecting an alternative item.
We are happy to exchange unused items for alternate colors and sizes within 30 days. Simply return the item to our store with the receipt in person or via mail. Please make sure to include which item, size, color you would like in exchange. You can also call us directly to help in selecting an alternative item or reorder online.
Bivouac only pays for shipping for the return of defective items.
Although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our web site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products. If we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered, we will notify you via email. Any changes will be reflected in your order total and our shipping confirmation.
