Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING

We offer free shipping on all purchases over $49 within the continental United States. We do not ship internationally at this time.  

We cannot ship to PO boxes or APO boxes at this time. We do offer other shipping options (3-day select, 2-day, overnight etc) which you can select at checkout. Any order totaling $500 or more will require a signature upon delivery. UPS does not ship on Sat/Sun and if order is placed after 1pm it ships the following day.

Curbside Pickup

We offer FREE curbside pickup (from our Ann Arbor, MI location) on all orders!  Pickup orders will typically be ready for pickup within one hour.  You will receive an email letting you know your order is ready for pickup.  Simply pull in front of our store and call 734-761-6207 and a clerk can bring your order to your car.  

Same-Day Delivery

We offer FREE same-day local delivery within a 5-mile radius of our Ann Arbor, MI store, every day until 4pm. When you are ready to checkout, enter your billing and shipping addresses. If your shipping address is within five (5) miles of our store, a "Free Same-Day Delivery" shipping method will appear.

Once your order has been received, one of our staff members will reach out to schedule your delivery time. You must be home to sign for the delivery, and any order placed after 4pm will be delivered the following day.

We welcome any and all feedback! Let us know how we can make our Same-Day Delivery option better for you.

International Orders

At this time, we do not ship internationally.

Timelines

We stock all inventory offered on our web site to ensure the quickest turn-around possible on your order. Because our inventory is close at hand, we can process and ship all orders received by 1pm on the same day Monday through Friday. Orders received after 1pm are shipped on the following business day.

Order Tracking

Once your order is processed, Bivouac will give you a UPS tracking number. Use this number to track your order at www.ups.com. Please allow up to 24 hours for your UPS tracking number to update.

Payment

We can process your payment with a credit card directly over the phone if you prefer. Please call us at 734-761-6207 for help with this. WARNING: Email is not a secure form of communication. Never send sensitive information such as credit card or billing details via email. Bivouac team members NEVER request this information over the Internet.


Returns

New, unworn and unused items that do not meet your expectations in fit, quality, or style can be returned within 30 days for a full refund (includes purchase price but excludes shipping charges). Defective items in any condition can be returned for a full refund of the purchase price and shipping costs within 30 days. If you feel that you received a damaged or defective item please contact us and we will provide you with a return shipping label. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE SHIPPING LABELS ON OUR SHOE BOXES. THIS DAMAGES THE BOX AND REQUIRES US TO MARKDOWN THE SHOE. IF A SHOE BOX IS RETURNED DAMAGED, WE MUST CHARGE A 20% RESTOCKING FEE.

To return an order you can:

1.  Email shipping@bivouacannarbor.com to request a UPS return label. A flat fee of $12 will be deducted from your return. 

OR

2.  Simply ship the item(s) back to: Bivouac Ann Arbor Attn Returns, 336 S State St, Ann Arbor MI 48104 via whatever carrier is easiest for you to ship with. This would be at your own expense.

Please include a return form which can be found here: RETURN FORM. If you are unable to fill out a return form please include a copy of your receipt or at the very least your name, phone number and order number in the package.

Due to safety and hygiene concerns we cannot accept returns on the following items: Climbing equipment, Swimwear, and Underwear (baselayers may be returned)

We will confirm receipt of your return and credit your credit card with the purchase price. Items received as gifts can be returned for store credit.

Alternatively, returns can be made directly in our store, where we'll be happy to process your refund, or assist you in selecting an alternative item.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange unused items for alternate colors and sizes within 30 days. Simply return the item to our store with the receipt in person or via mail. Please make sure to include which item, size, color you would like in exchange. You can also call us directly to help in selecting an alternative item or reorder online.
