KEEN Womens Targhee Vent Mid

Gosh, I've never gone online to write a negative review before, but I was so disappointed! I LOVE Keens, and they're the only boot with a toebox that works for me, but they must have changed their manufacturing, because the latest batch is poorly made. The upper eyelets are plastic instead of metal (how long might *they* last?). The thin permanent insoles glued into the bottoms look like they weren't the right size for the boots, they weren't centered correctly, there is a hole under each heel, and there is a permanent bulge (ridge) under the big toe on one side (it bunched up because it wasn't glued in correctly). I'll try one exchange, but if the replacement pair isn't any better I may have to find another brand, major bummer.
